Motherly Thoughts on Perfection

What is perfect?
An orchid bathing in moonlight.
The requisite sunrise over some tropical heaven.
I, however, am not those things.
I am a Mother, I am a cleaning, polishing, cooking, bather-of-children, sweating, laboring Mother.
I am all encompassing for the small ones that sprang from my belly. I am everything to them.
Each day, I do my absolute best to be the Mother that they deserve.
My heart floods with this love, it comes through me, a river, brimming, spilling through my pores.
To see my children absorb it, now that is perfection.

Hey! Welcome to MBC. I am so glad that I found you. I feel as if I found another sister. I am also a survivor of sexual abuse. I have been on a healing path now for about 15 years now. I live in Freedom and have come on the other side of the dark valley of trauma.

I am so thrilled to see a blog dedicated to helping other precious woman onto the other side.
